Professional Development Specialist

Our Professional Development Specialist assists with the development and oversight of our statewide child care provider PD and technical assistance services provided by our central administrative office and our Regional Child Care Resource Centers. This includes development and oversight of provider TA/business support services, coordination of statewide training programs (grant-funded training projects), training/curriculum development, project management and reporting, seeking new PD programming/opportunities for our network, training and supporting our regional network staff. This position also manages a web-based resource site for child care providers – strong technical skills, including database/web-platform management skills are necessary. Our candidate must be a highly-organized self-starter who is able to work independently while managing multiple overlapping project timelines.
